Check-Out/Check-In
Anglers may take off from anywhere but lines
cannot be in water until safe light. Safe light will
be determined at the Captain’s meeting.
(No check-out required)
You will be DISQUALIFIED if you have not checked
in by 2:30 p.m. YOU AND ALL OF THE ANGLERS
WITH YOU.
On Your Boat

Must have a valid Florida Fishing License. (per state laws)

All boats must meet U.S.C.G. and Marine Patrol safety
equipment requirements.

No alcoholic beverages permitted on board while
engaged in tournament fishing.

Obey all local State Manatee protection zone speedlimits. Any CLOSED areas are off limits.

Anglers must use hook and line. (Artificial or live bait allowed)
-
Legal size redfish with most spots WINS! (Spots that
connect will only be counted as one spot) Ties will be
broken by first fish checked in.

Winner will be required to take polygraph test. All
anglers are subject to polygraph test.

All redfish must be caught on Oct. 2nd, 2010
between safe light and 2:30 p.m.

Anglers must fish east coast of Florida.

On Your Boat Cont'd

Junior Division (MALE AND FEMALE) is NOT eligible
for grand prize or any of the General Division Prizes
or Trophies. Ladies and Seniors ARE eligible for general
division prize structure.

You may fish from shore, wade, dock, pier, canoe, boat
or kayak on the East Coast of Florida.
-
Once you check your redfish in, you are not allowed to
fish the rest of the day.
-
You must bring your fish to the weigh-in alive.
-
Tournament Director and judges have final say on any
catch dispute that may arise.
-
ALL disputes must be filed the day of the tournament
by 3:00 p.m.

This is a public event and there will be pictures and/or
video taken. When you enter this event you release all rights
to any pictures/video taken at The Hunt for Reds In October.

Fishing For Spots will not be held liable for any
negligence, injury or unlawful activity that takes place
during the event by any participant.

This is a Catch and Release tournament. All redfish
must be alive to be counted.
-
Tournament Director reserves the right to limit the
number of participants and to refuse individual entry
based on previous tournaments or knowledge of any
inappropriate actions.
